THE Moving City Map
Event Date: On going till Jan 2026
city event \ open for everyone \
The Moving City Map is not about directions
It doesn’t mark streets or stations—it traces human connections.
Eight types of small booklets are now quietly circulating across London.
Each one represents a unique human route.
They’re handed randomly to strangers, then left to travel freely—
to be passed, read, forgotten, and found again.
When a booklet completes its journey, it’s mailed back to us.
Together, they’ll form a growing, living map—shared in an exhibition and online.
You might come across one.
You might become part of its story.
Follow us for updates. Join the transmission.
You might encounter one of these booklets:
It might be tucked in a dog-walker’s backpack,
or slipped into the pocket of a cyclist.
It may be picked up by someone holding a bouquet,
or quietly read by a person on the Underground.
It could rest in the hands of someone wearing a rainbow badge,
carrying their story and sense of identity.
Some are passed from friend to friend,
others bear notes from a tattooed stranger,
and a few are simply handed to “someone you think deserves it”—entirely up to you.
We don’t know what these booklets will go through—
whether they’ll be left on a train, soaked in the rain,
or cherished for a week in someone’s pocket.
